2017 Jaguar Invitational – Wow…. What a GREAT weekend UPPER 90 FC had at the 2017 Jaguar Invitational. We had a lot of GREAT soccer play, good team and parent bonding, and some awesome weather.
Here are some stats for you. 8 Teams, 31 games coached, a record of 18 wins, 10 losses, 3 ties, 2 champions crowned, 2 finalists crowned, and 2 additional teams advanced to the semis.
- 04 Ladies finish 3-0-1 and were crowned champions of the U13 Gold Division.
- 05-06 Ladies finish 5-0-0 and were crowned champions of the U12 Bronze Division.
- 02 Boys finish 3-1-0 and finished in second place of the U15 Silver Division.
- 05 Boys finish 2-2-0 and finished in second place of the U12 Copper Division.
- 07 Ladies finish 2-2-0 and advanced to the semi finals in the Silver Division.
- 07 Boys finish 2-2-0 and advanced to the semi finals in the Bronze Division.
- 03 Boys finish 1-2-0 in the U14 Silver Division.
- 01 Boys finish 0-1-2 in the U16 ELITE Division.

2017 Louisville Cup – Crowned Champions
Congratulation to the UPPER 90 FC 01 Boys for going 3 – 0 this weekend and bring home a Championship win. They defeated an Indiana Fire Juniors team (ranked 6th in Indiana) in the championship.
Congratulations o the UPPER 90 FC 02 Boys for going 3 – 0 this weekend and bring home a Championship win too. They defeated Southern Indiana United team in the championship.

2017 Cincinnati Elite Spring Thaw – The boys made the Championship game and played it to a 1-1 tie against KINGS HAMMER ACADEMY KHA 03 RED (KY) (Ranked # 6 in KY) but in the end lost in a PK shootout. Great weekend guys!

CONGRATULATIONS to UPPER 90 FC and Columbus East FC for their merged talent performances last weekend (March 10-12, 2017) in the APC Premier Cup Boys Tournament in the Virginia area.
The U13 team (with UPPER 90 FC’s Connor Bozak, Gavin Hill, Nathan Trickett, and Nathanial Vakos) boys took 1st place in the Championship Division while the U14 (with UPPER 90 FC’s Allen Prechtel, Chase Miller, and Gavin Csiszar) boys finished in second place.

Nathanial Vakos brings home gold from the world’s third largest Youth Soccer Tournament!
The North American All Stars (NAAS) is an elite soccer team composed of 16 Northeast Ohio area Youth Soccer players born in 2002, 03′, and 04′ representing more than a dozen communities. The multicultural team of kids from more than 10 different nationalities was guided by coaches from four different countries.
The team competed against and dominated teams from Norway, Germany, Macedonia, and Kosovo, were undefeated for all 9 games of the tournament, and outscoring their opponents 34-0. In fact, NAAS is the first team from the U.S. to win the U13 title since the tournaments inception in 1982.
